Interior Design

What is Interior Design?
The field of interior design focuses primarily on supporting and enhancing human experience through the design of the spaces we live, play, and work in. Far from merely decorating rooms, interior design strives to elevate quality of life and well-being in the built environment. It is a multi-faceted discipline that entails a rigorous process of problem-solving—requiring the technical skills of the engineer, the aesthetic sensibilities of the artist, and the compassion of the humanist.

Interior designers work not only on residential projects, but also in the sectors of retail, hospitality, healthcare, education, business, government, etc. The contribution of interior designers is crucial to occupant health and safety, psychological and physical comfort, work productivity, social interaction, and environmental sustainability. As a field that is creative, practical, and service-oriented, interior design can offer an option for a fulfilling, lifelong, and lucrative career.

So to further reduce upfront expenses, we also offer a deferred payment plan where students pay only a nominal fee to begin the lower level courses. Once a student has been placed in their first paid Fieldwork assignment, a portion of their salary can then be applied to their tuition. In this way students need not pay out of pocket, and can start payment only once they are assured regular income.
